Future of Digital Content Scenario Creation Workshop

Shaping the future of digital content for the creative industries

Senior people from creative businesses and from some of our leading technology companies will be coming together at a series of CI KTN events next month.

We will be staging six workshops around the UK as we kick-off the second phase of our Future of Digital Content Beacon Projects.

Our first wave of activities produced Baseline reports that included interesting and thought provoking ideas and produced a number of scenarios that present a desirable future for digital content. The next step is to use this work as a stimulus for a series of workshops involving leading figures from both technology organisations and creative businesses that will further refine these.

These refined scenarios will identify what projects, actions or funding needs to be put in place in order to turn these scenarios into reality, for the long term future benefit of creative industries over the next five to seven years.

Creative businesses and technology organisations will then be able to share these insights and knowledge as they examine how to harness the technology innovations that will occur.

The Baseline reports are available on the CI KTN web site along with forum discussions so people can get involved.

Some of the workshops are followed by Digital Lounge events, a CI KTN initiative for organisations to showcase their work, attendees to network and get the latest news on funding opportunities. The Digital Lounge is open to anyone.
